Opella

This project consists of an 8,000 SF expansion of office space on the third floor of 21 South Street in Morristown, New Jersey, designed for Opella, the global manufacturer of self-care health products. The expansion builds upon the company’s established workplace standards, reinforcing its contemporary design aesthetic
while creating a dynamic environment that supports collaboration, innovation, and flexibility. The office layout balances open and private work settings, incorporating spacious open office areas alongside glass-fronted private offices and huddle rooms that maximize transparency and natural light. At the center of the plan is a flexible future lab, designed as a versatile space that can adapt to the company’s evolving research, development, and collaborative needs while serving as a focal point for innovation. The interior embraces an industrial-inspired design language that reflects the character of the historic building while complementing Opella’s modern brand identity. Polished concrete floors, open ceilings with exposed building systems, and restored brick walls create a clean, contemporary backdrop, while expansive glazing and thoughtfully integrated collaborative spaces foster connectivity among employees. The result is a bright, flexible workplace that promotes teamwork, creativity, and productivity while supporting Opella’s continued growth and commitment to advancing self-care health solutions.
